Friday, November 23

Lighting of the Lights on the 1st Street Plaza    5:00pm         

Experience the wonder of the season as Mayor DeWitte illuminates the city and officially kicks-off the holidays in St. Charles.  There will be a special performance by the St. Charles East and North High Schools’ Chorales, as well as an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Be there as Santa opens his house for the first time this season

FREE Holiday Movie at the Arcada Theatre     2:00pm- Home Alone
Bring the family to the historic Arcada Theatre to watch two holiday movie favorites.


Saturday, November 24

Free Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides on First St. Plaza       1-4pm

Take a ride on a horse drawn sleigh, and take a ride back in time.  Enjoy the splendor of St. Charles, as you escape the hustle and bustle of the holidays on this leisurely ride.

Electric Christmas Parade- 5:30 p.m.
On Main Street – between 6th Street and 4th Avenue

Don’t miss this spectacular, fully illuminated parade down Main Street.  You are sure to be in awe as the city lights are turned off and the lighted floats make their way along the scenic backdrop of Downtown St. Charles. Click here to see part of last years parade!
